Connecting to the university web server (Webserve) via SSH or SFTP

Note: For your personal web page at mypage.iu.edu, you need to connect to Mercury to work with your files; see Creating a personal home page on Mypage

Webserve is the central web server for Indiana University Bloomington, IUPUI, IU Northwest, and IU Kokomo.

To upload files to or download files from your web account, use the following address:

webserve.iu.edu

Although you view your pages at www.indiana.edu, www.iupui.edu, www.iun.edu, or www.iuk.edu, Webserve handles all SSH and SFTP connections to the web server.
