Checking your storage space on your Exchange account

Outlook 2010
To determine your space usage in Outlook 2010, click the
File tab and, if necessary, select Info in the left
column. The "Mailbox Cleanup" section will display how much space you
are using in your mailbox.
For a detailed list displaying the size of each folder in your mailbox:
- In the "Mailbox Cleanup" section, click
Cleanup Tools.
- Select
Mailbox Cleanupfrom the drop-down list.
- Click
View Mailbox Size....
- Your total usage is listed beside "Total Size (including subfolders)", with each folder's size below the total.
Outlook 2007, 2003, 2002
Note: For 2003, these instructions assume you are not using Cached Exchange mode.
- From the
Toolsmenu, chooseMailbox Cleanup....
- Click
View Mailbox Size...(Outlook 2007 or 2003) orClick Here(Outlook 2002).
Outlook Web App (OWA)
Note: OWA now has the same functionality across major
browsers in most cases; see OWA "Premium" and "Light" interfaces For more information on
using OWA, with your Inbox displayed, click ? (the question
mark) at the top right.
If you are in the Premium interface for Outlook Web App (OWA):
- In the lower left of the window, on the navigation bar, click
Mailto make sure you are in the correct view.
- In the upper left, you will see the folder list. Your name will be
displayed near the top as
lastname, firstname. Mouse over your name. A small box with your storage information will appear.
Mac OS
To check your Indiana University Exchange storage space on a Mac, you need to use Mail configured as an Exchange client running on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
