Equipment available for students to borrow in the IUB Wells Library

At Indiana University Bloomington, students can check out laptop computers from the Information Commons (IC) circulation desk, located on the first floor of the Herman B Wells Library West Tower. Students with disabilities can use the equipment in the Adaptive Technology and Accessibility Center (ATAC) in the Information Commons. Video and digital cameras are available to borrow from the Kent Cooper Room Services, located on the ground floor of the Wells Library. Laptops

Students may borrow laptops, equipped to connect to the IU wireless network, for up to four hours from the IC circulation desk. Laptops cannot be kept overnight. The late return fee is $10 per hour or any part of an hour. For more details, see the IC Circulating Laptop Policies.

Video and digital cameras

The Kent Cooper Room Services department lends video (VHS-C) cameras, digital video cameras, and digital still picture cameras to IUB students for up to 48 hours. This equipment is available on a first-come first-served basis. You cannot make reservations, but if all cameras are checked out, you may place a hold on an item. The late return fee is $10 per hour or any part of an hour.
