File types you can stream on IU's streaming servers
On Indiana University's streaming servers, you can stream the following file types:

Windows Media: You can stream Windows Media files
ending with the extensions
.wmv,.wma, or.asf.

QuickTime: You can stream hinted
QuickTime and MPEG4 files; see How to stream QuickTime files at IU
- Flash: FLV and MPEG4 (H.264 video/AAC audio) files can stream from the Flash Streaming Server.
Note: You cannot stream QuickTime VR and Flash tracks within QuickTime Player. Instead, place QuickTime VR movies on a web server, and stream Flash movies directly from the Flash Streaming Server.
