Long distance corporate rates at IUB and IUPUI
At Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI, administrative domestic long distance calls are included as part of the basic bundle of services from UITS; see About changes in funding for telecommunication and network services at IUB and IUPUI. However, long distance calls require an authorization code to ensure that calls are for university business only.
Calls made from IUB or IUPUI to any other IU campus also require an authorization code, although there is no charge. From an office phone, you can call between IUB and IUPUI by dialing the last five digits of the number (e.g., 5-1234).

Note: Direct-dial long distance is not available in campus housing at IUB and IUPUI. However, IU has partnered with MobileSphere to provide residential long distance and international calling.
