Predial

The Predial feature allows you to dial your number first, inspect it as it is shown on your display, and then pick up the handset or press a button to make your call. To use your telephone's Predial feature, follow the appropriate instructions below:

All telephones on which Predial is available

To make a call using Predial:

  1. Enter the number you are calling using the dial pad.

  2. Lift the handset, or press Dial or your telephone's Handsfree button.

Caller ID telephones

  1. Enter the number you are calling using the dial pad.

  2. Lift the handset, press Handsfree/Mute, or select line 1 or 2.

To enable or disable the Predial feature:

  1. Press Program, and then below the dial pad, press <<<| |>>> until "Predial ?" is shown on the display.

  2. Press Hold, and then press <<<| |>>> to enable or disable the Predial feature.

  3. Press Hold, and then press Program or RLS to exit programming mode.

To make a call when Predial has been enabled:

  1. Dial the telephone number you wish to call. The number is shown on the display.

  2. To edit the Predial number, below the dial pad, press <<<| |>>> and type the number on the dial pad.

  3. When you are ready to make your call, pick up the handset or press Handsfree.
