Predial
The Predial feature allows you to dial your number first, inspect it as it is shown on your display, and then pick up the handset or press a button to make your call. To use your telephone's Predial feature, follow the appropriate instructions below:
All telephones on which Predial is available
To make a call using Predial:
- Enter the number you are calling using the dial pad.
- Lift the handset, or press Dial or your telephone's Handsfree button.
Caller ID telephones
- Enter the number you are calling using the dial pad.
- Lift the handset, press Handsfree/Mute, or select line 1 or 2.

To enable or disable the Predial feature:
- Press Program, and then below the dial pad, press
<<<| |>>> until "Predial ?" is shown on the
display.
- Press Hold, and then press
<<<| |>>> to enable or disable the Predial
feature.
- Press Hold, and then press Program or RLS to exit programming mode.
To make a call when Predial has been enabled:
- Dial the telephone number you wish to call. The number is
shown on the display.
- To edit the Predial number, below the dial pad, press
<<<| |>>> and type the number on the dial
pad.
- When you are ready to make your call, pick up the handset or press Handsfree.
