Single-line Caller ID telephones
Setting the ring tone
- Ensure that the ringer is turned on and press Set Options.
- Use the Review key to scroll up or down to the 3, or press
0 and 3 to go directly to the item.
- Press * and follow the instructions on the display.
- When you are satisfied with your ring tone and ringer volume, press Save, and then press RLS.
Note: You cannot turn the volume off when you are choosing the ring tone. You can control the volume of the ring, the volume of the receiver, and the volume of the speaker by pressing the Volume Control Bar to the left or right side when activating these options.
To adjust your ringer volume
While the telephone is ringing, press the left or right side of the Volume Control Bar to increase or decrease ringer volume.
To turn the ringer on
- Press the right side of the Volume Control Bar until
you reach the desired ring volume.
- Press Save.
To turn the ringer off
- Press the left side of the Volume Control Bar until
the ringer is off ("Ringer is OFF" will appear on the display).
- Press Save.
Two-line Caller ID telephones
To set the ring tone
- Ensure that the ringer is turned on and press Set Options.
- Press * to enter the options list.
- Use the arrow up/down key to scroll to number 1, or press 1.
- Press 1 and follow the instructions on the display. When
picking the ring tone, press the Volume Control Bar to adjust
the volume.
- When you are satisfied with your ring tone and ringer volume, press Save, and then press RLS.
Note: Repeat these steps to set up the ring tone and volume for the other line. You can control the volume of the ring, the handset, or the speaker during an active call by pressing the Volume Control Bar to the left or right until you reach to the desired volume.
To adjust your ringer volume
While the telephone is ringing, press the left or right side of the Volume Control Bar to increase or decrease ringer volume.
To turn the ringer on
- Press the Volume Control Bar.
- Press Line 1 or 2.
- Press the right side of the Volume Control Bar until you reach
the desired ring volume.
- Press Save.
To turn the ringer off
- Press the Volume Control Bar.
- Press Line 1 or 2.
- Press the left side until you see that the ringer goes off
("Ringer is OFF" will appear on the display).
- Press Save.
Note: Do not lift the handset while you are turning the ringer on and off.
Panasonic Model KX-T2355 Easa and ATT 925 Speakerphone
The three positions are High, Low, and Off. UITS recommends that you select either High or Low. In the Off position, the telephone will not ring.

To set the Ringer Volume Switch
The switch is located on the right side of the telephone. You may set the switch to HI for high volume, LO for low volume, or OFF to turn the ringer volume off. When the switch is moved to the OFF position you will not hear ringing from the telephone. However, an extension telephone will ring during an incoming call.
To set the B/Z type ringer
The B/Z type ringer switch is located on the bottom of the phone near the
Line jacks. This switch should be set to the Z mode for
business/hospitality applications and the B mode for residential
applications.
Note: The Message Waiting light and the Line in Use
(LIU) LEDs will not operate when the phone is set in the B ringer mode.
