Fax switch

On the two-line Caller ID telephones in use at Indiana University Bloomington, to enable or disable the fax switch feature:

  1. Press the Set Options key.

  2. Press * to enter the options list.

  3. Press the arrow up/down key to scroll to number 6.

  4. Press 6 to enable or disable the fax switch.

Note: To ensure proper operation of the fax switch feature, if multiple locations are using two-line telephones with the same telephone numbers, and one location shares with a fax machine, then all locations must have the fax switch on line 2 enabled.
