Classrooms: Software installation requests
When a department, professor, or class requires software that is not already available in the IUB STCs, the department can sponsor the software for installation on the STC computers at IUB. The requesting department is responsible for funding and supporting departmentally sponsored software. Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs (Windows 7 Enterprise or Mac OS X 10.6 [Snow Leopard]).

At IUPUI, instructors may request software installation in the STCs or on classroom and auditorium instructor stations. To request software, use the Software Request Form (requires IU Network ID login). Software must be compatible with the operating system being used in the STCs; for details, see the Student Technology Centers Lab Information.
For security reasons, students generally cannot add programs to any UITS computer. For more information, see Software requests on UITS STC computers.
