Access to GIS software in student labs
At Indiana University, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing software is available in many student computing labs. For details, see the appropriate section below.
IU Bloomington
At IUB, the following GIS software is available in all Windows Student Technology Centers (STCs):

Upcoming changes
- ERDAS IMAGINE 9.3 will be available in all STCs in fall 2009.
- ArcInfo Workstation 9.3 and BusinessMap 5.0 will be available in the Information Commons in fall 2009.
- The ArcHydro extension for ArcGIS 9.3 (compatible with Windows Vista) has not yet been released, and is not yet available in the STCs.
- Google Earth 4.3 is still in beta, and is not yet available in the STCs.
