Goals
- Enhance the quality and quantity of IU research by providing the
best possible computation, storage, and visualization facilities and
support
- Enable IU researchers to be among the first to carry out new
scientific research and creative activity based on IU's advanced
information technology facilities
- Pioneer the frontiers of advanced computing as a research and
development endeavor; support this research and development through
purposeful university/government/industry partnerships and extramural
grants
- Enhance the quality of instruction at IU by facilitating use of
research computing tools in instruction
- Engage in outreach and education activities to ensure that the
advanced information technology community is drawn from the full
richness of America's diversity
- Engage in information dissemination and technology transfer to
ensure that RT-enabled innovations enhance human knowledge, the
quality of life, and economic development for the residents of the
state of Indiana
- Engage in programmatic improvement to ensure excellence in
advanced computing services for IU
