Enterprise Services Integration
The mission of the Enterprise Services Integration team is to provide development, management, and support of middleware components required by enterprise applications at Indiana University. Focusing on Kuali Rice and PeopleSoft components, the group enables application development teams to integrate standalone applications into the IU enterprise application environment while maintaining the high quality standards set by UITS and Indiana University.
Service areas include:
- Strategic analysis, design, development, deployment, and ongoing support for the Kuali Rice components as deployed at IU and as part of the community source initiatives
- Enterprise application administration for the PeopleSoft application, including the installation of patches and upgrades for the vended product and managing application level security
- Collaborative efforts with infrastructure teams to configure middleware components and coordinate application and middleware release activities
- Serving as a resource to other UITS development groups using Java and PeopleSoft development environments
