The Learning Management Systems unit provides the Oncourse Collaboration and Learning environment.
Oncourse Collaboration and Learning (Oncourse CL) provides Indiana University students, faculty, and staff with a powerful environment in which to collaborate and learn. In partnership with other academic institutions as part of Sakai, IU developed Oncourse CL to allow for innovative ways of accessing and sharing materials and information.Oncourse CL offers a straightforward way to create a web site for every course offered at the university. Using Oncourse CL, students and faculty can access course syllabi and grades; communicate via course mail, chat rooms, and discussion forums; and access online quizzes and surveys. Oncourse CL also provides individuals 1GB of file storage space.
