IUPUI Center for Teaching and Learning
The Center for Teaching and Learning is a partnership between UITS, Academic Affairs, and the University Library at IUPUI. The Center provides individual consultations, workshops, conferences, seminars, and programs promoting the use of technology and best practices in teaching and learning.
The Center strives to create a safe and supportive environment for faculty to experiment with pioneering approaches in their teaching with strong support from consultants in instructional design and development, instructional technology, and information resources. The Center for Teaching and Learning exists solely to provide assistance to faculty in pursuit of teaching excellence.
Consultants also work to further the ongoing development of the IU community source course management system, Oncourse CL, through participation in the Functional Requirements Committee, which works closely with the faculty Oncourse Priorities Committee to establish specific functional requirements for proposed improvements, new features, and tools in Oncourse CL.
