Gmail

Student email has moved to Exchange Online

Begin using Microsoft Exchange Online exclusively to send and receive email. Gmail at IU is retiring. Be aware, it could take time for all of your Gmail messages, contacts and calendar items to migrate over to Exchange. Until everything is copied over, you will still be able to access older items in Gmail at IU.

Faculty, staff and students still have access to other Google at IU apps such as Hangouts, Drive, and Calendar.

Accessing and managing your email account

Log in to your IU Gmail account via a desktop PC, laptop, mobile device, or campus workstation with your IU username and passphrase. You can also access your mail directly by logging into gmail.com with your username@iu.edu email address and your IU passphrase.
