If a significant number of banks and financial institutions start adopting Ripple's XRP as a bridge currency, the price of XRP would likely need to increase to handle the growing volume of transactions effectively to a price that is a 1000x multiple of what it is today. Since banks using the XRPL and Ripple's On Demand Liquidity do not need to hold XRP prior to or post and there are only 100 billion max supply of XRP available, in this video we discuss what would happen if mass adoption did occur.
