Security
Use of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure by IU staff and faculty is restricted to IU's negotiated contracts. The platforms are approved for data classified as Public or University-Internal. Using any of these platforms to store, process, or transmit data classified as Restricted or Critical requires special approval. Know your responsibilities:
Use only approved classes of data on public cloud computing platforms.
Review Protect IU's cloud computing overview for risks and recommendations.
