The Mosaic Active Learning Initiative has four goals: preparing faculty to teach in active learning environments, building a community, promoting evidence-based teaching, and creating faculty leaders. Mosaic Active Learning Faculty Fellows go on to mentor colleagues and work with stakeholders to help develop new learning experiences at IU.

Mosaic Fellows come from diverse academic backgrounds and represent a variety of schools and departments across IU. Each cohort works together for an academic year to explore active learning approaches and active learning environments.
Mosaic Faculty Fellow Alum
The Mosaic Faculty Fellow Alum are esteemed members who have successfully completed the Mosaic Faculty Fellows program. As alum, they embody and perpetuate the core mission of the Mosaic Initiative: to foster and support active learning across Indiana University's learning environments. They carry forward the program's values, continuing to champion innovative pedagogical approaches and inspire active student engagement in various learning contexts.
