IU eTexts is a teaching and learning initiative (created and managed by UITS) offering faculty the option to choose required class materials such as digital texts, digital courseware, and other non-text-based digital learning tools.
The design of the initiative eliminates many of the early risks/barriers to academic success in a class. This benefit, along with the features of the e-reader (Engage), promotes engagement, academic success, and retention. Additionally, choosing to teach with IU eTexts reduces costs for students.
