Our people
Technology is our hallmark, but it’s the energy and expertise of the many people who work for UITS that powers our division.
UITS reports to the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology (OVPIT), which drives the continued development of information technology at IU.

Constituent Success
Maintains enterprise systems that provides a holistic view of each IU constituent, resulting in higher-quality outreach and communications and a better engagement experience for all. Provides communications, media, and event support to all OVPIT units.

Enterprise Systems
Creates, maintains, and supports university-wide software solutions and underlying infrastructure in support of IU's academic and administrative functions. Leads IU's efforts towards simple, inclusive digital experiences and an effective digital ecosystem.

Client Services & Support
Organizes licensing agreements for the university and offers support services to students, faculty, and staff

Information Security
Protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and delivery systems across the university

Institutional Analytics
Provides greater efficiencies in reporting, assessment, institutional effectiveness and analytic capabilities for all IU campuses

Learning Technologies
Focuses on using technology to improve the classroom experience and learning processes for students and faculty

Networks
Directs advanced networking engineering services for the university and manages international and other outward-facing network initiatives
