Our people
Technology is our hallmark, but it’s the energy and expertise of the many people who work for UITS that powers our division.
UITS reports to the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology (OVPIT), which drives the continued development of information technology at IU.

Research Technologies
Develops and supports technological innovation in research to open new possibilities for discovery and productivity
Learning Technologies
Focuses on using technology to improve the classroom experience and learning processes for students and faculty
Health Technology Services
Provides services and support for the IU health sciences community to help it become a national leader among academic healthcare organizations
Enterprise Systems
Maintains the large-scale software applications that support important university activities, as well as relationships with various service providers and partners
Networks
Directs advanced networking engineering services for the university and manages international and other outward-facing network initiatives
Client Services & Support
Organizes licensing agreements for the university and offers support services to students, faculty, and staff
